Why 2S Makes Sense for Micro
2S battery on a micro build gives you roughly 30-45% throttle headroom for FPV camera andflight controller. On a 5" build you do not notice this as much because the larger props give you natural buffering. On a micro, that throttle headroom is everything — your analog FPV feed stays clean under acceleration because the voltage sag is less aggressive.
F1404 at 4600KV on 2S
Snap response. That is the first thing I noticed. This motor spins up fast and stops fast. For indoor warehouse flying and tight tree gaps, that response time is the difference between making the gap and eating a wall.
Thermal: held at 62C after 4 minutes full throttle indoor. The small stator dissipates heat fast enough when ambient is 72F. Outdoor summer flying will be different — watch your temps.
